Una sera, davanti ad una birra, Luca e Fede mi proposero di costruire un nuovo sito per Chop's76.
In un primo momento rifiutai perchè ormai non faccio più il web designer da qualche anno e le mie conoscenze di html sono un po' datate.
Consigliai dunque loro di rivolgersi a qualcuno più preparato ed aggiornato di me. Poi pensai che poteva essere divertente e accettai, a patto però che si facesse tutto a modo mio e con i miei tempi.
Chop's76.com emise il suo primo vagito una buia notte di dicembre e fu un parto abbastanza facile, accompagnato dalle immortali ed emozionanti musiche di Ennio Morricone.
Posso dire che mi ha dato molte soddisfazioni costruire un sito per il solo piacere di farlo, decidere con calma colori e grafica, mettere a posto foto, lavorare in totale autonomia e senza il solito coglione alle spalle a impormi le sue scelte. Se fosse sempre stato così probabilmente non avrei cambiato lavoro.
Il fatto poi di fare tutto come semplice favore a due fratelli di Club, quindi in forma totalmente gratuita, ha reso tutto più facile e divertente. Purtroppo però mi sono reso conto che è passato davvero tanto tempo da quando l'html mi dava da vivere, mi sono accorto di essere meno capace e meno aggiornato di quanto credevo, sono emersi i miei limiti in materia... ragion per cui penso proprio che mi congederò definitivamente.
Chop's76 sarà il mio ultimo sito.
Basta, non ho altro da dire, ci vediamo in giro.

An evening, in front of a beer, Luca and Fede proposed me to build their new Chop's76 website.
At first I refused because I had left my previous work as web designer and I had not worked in this field for some years, and my html knowledge was a little dated.
I truly them to look someone more prepared and updated than me, but then I thought that it could have been fun and I accepted, as long as things were to be done my way, with my times.
Chop'76.com was born in a dark December nigth and it was a quite easy "baby delivery", with the emotional and immortal melodies of Ennio Morricone as background.
I must admit taht building this website has given me a lot of satisfaction, just for pleasure to do it.
Deciding by myself colors and graphics, digital imaging... well... I mean working in total autonomy and whithout the usual motherfucker behind me imposing choices and techniques. If I had alwais been like this, I wold not have (probably) left my old job. The fact also to make this website has a sample favour to two Club brothers, completely free, has made it all easier and funny.
Unfortunately I realized that too much time has passed by since I used to work in this field, when html fed me.
It made me realized how less capable and less updated I was, it made me reach my limits in this field. Therefore... I really think that this will be my last project.
Chop's76 will be my last website.
